Casey

Casey’s Cause is dedicated to the memory of our 4 year old yellow Lab who lived his life to the fullest, although not long enough. Casey touched the lives of everyone he met, especially our Veterans and their families.

Casey’s first 4 months were not very happy or safe ones. Thankfully, Rosie Animal Adoption rescued him from his abusive life and we became his guardians. In his short time with us, we became a therapy team with Therapeutic Paws of Canada and touched countless lives.

His life was shortened all too soon after fighting Addisons Disease in his last year; a constant battle that was not easily managed. To the end, Casey still wanted to help others with the wag of his tail and his deep, warm gaze.

In memory of Casey, a “cause” has been created to assist other saved dogs within the adopting system that he came through.
